Our Services
Rolling Hills Behavioral Health Services provides high quality behavioral health services to residents living in skilled nursing, long-term care and assisted living facilities. Since our start in 2004, we have developed an outstanding reputation and have had significant and ongoing growth, with over 25 facilities in Austin and surrounding areas.
We have excellent relationships with primary care physicians, psychiatrists, facility administration, nursing staff, rehabilitation therapy and social services. Our clinicians recognize the importance of integrating our mental health services into the overall plan of care for each resident to ensure comprehensive treatment. Rolling Hills providers work together to assess patients’ needs and to aid each facility in developing individualized, outcome-oriented treatment plans.
Our clinicians include psychologists, clinical social workers and master’s level counselors, with extensive training and experience in geriatric psychology, behavior management and health/rehabilitation psychology. Our providers are committed to providing effective psychological solutions to help residents improve their quality of life. The services we provide are beneficial not only to the residents we serve, but also to the staff working in our facilities.

Advantages to Using Our Services:
- Neuropsychological evaluation. We recognize the need for evaluation of cognitive functioning of residents, and have neuropsychologists on staff who specialize in evaluation and treatment planning.
- Services for hospice patients. As part of our dedication to serving the needs of all residents, we see patients on hospice care. While we may not be reimbursed for these services, we feel it is important for all patients to receive therapeutic support.
- Crisis management. Many psychology service providers limit facility support to the days when they are on site, but we have long offered additional support for whenever an urgent situation arises. We understand that crises do occur and sometimes require an immediate response, and are available to help.
- Easy referral process. We have streamlined our process to make it efficient and painless.
- Rapid response. Services generally begin the same week the referral is made.
- We are local. Rolling Hills is Austin owned and operated.
Have other questions about Rolling Hills services?
We do not have an outpatient office. Because we are on all major insurance panels, at times we erroneously receive referrals for individuals seeking outpatient psychotherapy. Our services are provided only in senior care facilities.
